Can you deliver fabric to PO boxes?

No, we cannot deliver rolls of fabric to PO boxes, only to a street address.

What is the minimum purchase amount on Silks & Fabrics?

Minimum purchase is 10 meters. Purchases of any quantity from 10 meters to thousands of meters can be made.
All fabrics differ in the length of rolls. Most rolls are approx 46 meters [50yards].
If we are not able to match your exact quantity requirement we will contact you by phone or email at the details you provide with the order.

What is your Shipping & Handling policy?

A handling fee of $5 applies to all orders.
Shipping in Australia – $20AUD (up to 5 kg).
Shipping prices are based on Standard Shipping Rates. Larger orders may require an additional Shipping Charge based on final total weight. If your order exceeds 5Kg one of our Customer service team will contact you to advise you of additional shipping costs.

OVERSEAS SHIPPING is easy, we use a number of Overseas courier services (FEDEX.   DHL. TOLL. etc) to keep the freight cost to a minimum. On large consignments we use  Airfreight or Sea freight Freight forwarders.Shipping charges are on a quote basis depending on the destination & the size of the consignment, we strive to give the best delivery service at a reasonable cost. Otherwise you can specify your own preferred carrier and account details so we can arrange International delivery on your account.
Please note the GST charge only applies to purchases made in Australia.

What if I require special delivery instructions?

If there are any special delivery instructions required, please contact us by phone or email once your order has been processed.

What currency are your prices in?

All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars.

Do you have a Privacy and Security policy?

Elsegood Fabrics is committed to respecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders and to provide a more personalised shopping experience. We will not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party at all.

In addition, when you place an order with Elsegood fabrics your personal information and credit card information are safe. From time to time we may send you an email updating you of our current happenings. If you do not wish to receive these emails, let us know and we’ll remove you from our list.

How can I cancel a transaction?

Elsegood Fabrics wants you to be happy with your purchase. Transaction can be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase. To cancel your order you must contact us by phone or email within the 12 hours period. A refund of the amount of purchase less any banking fees will be credited to the credit card that you use to make payment.

What is your Refunds and Returns policy?

Elsegood Fabrics do not offer refunds or exchanges once fabric has been cut or shipped.

What happens with Damages and Claims?

Please inspect your items before signing the delivery receipt. If damage has been found, please inform the carrier and remark on the delivery paperwork. Elsegood Fabrics will not warrant any damage claims that have not been noted at the point of delivery. You must contact us within 24 hours to report damage.
